  We rented a SUV to pickup friends from Toronto.The SUV was brand new and the price was excellent.My wife lost her gold ring under the front middle console right before to drop the van.The employee tried to remove the console to find the ring but was already too dark and late. He assured us that the next day they will remove the console.

  Arrived at Ottawa train station to find an electronic kiosk not an agent. The video call agent informed us that our car was not at the station and a driver would pick us up. In a half hour we were driven for 15 minutes to the Discount outlet on Bank Street. The employees there, including the manager, were competent and calm in the face of the anger and frustration of several customers not all from the train station. Their cars were over-booked and they apparently have only 10 with remote unlocking devices required for the two train stations and airport! Quite a juggling act was occurring. We were sent on our way 90 minutes after arriving on the train. Our return was as chaotic. We were staying downtown and were expecting to drop the car at the Cumberland office mere blocks from our hotel. NOPE! We were told by phone to drive back out to Bank Street. This was not helpful. Once again the staff there were good; processed us; drove us back downtown and dropped us near our hotel. So this is a corporate problem in my opinion...too few vehicles properly equipped for client needs. They should address it quickly.

  Staff were very helpful and friendly, had an issue with a crack in the windshield and I was not charged since it was there when I rented the truck but it expanded in the extreme cold weather. I would recommend Discount car and truck rental and I will definitely use them again.

  I had booked this through the internet. Even though it services the Ottawa Airport, it is NOT located at the airport. The airport pickup was very quick though and the rate was significantly less than the airport rate. The staff at the office was excellent. The office is small and cramped. It was a brutally hot day and the air conditioning did not work. I would have given it a far better review if the physical facilities were better. I feel sorry for the staff who had to work there all day.
