  Second, we find that they lack stock of items that are readily available in Toronto stores. Or they have the item but no sizes available. Such a disappointment when you go pay for parking (at this downtown location) and go shopping only to find they are out of stock, or never received the item, or no sizes available.

  Very disappointing. Hopefully they will open a larger store with better trained staff and better stock in Bayshore Mall or Tanger soon.

  We were looking for a few Moana items to be shipped to Newfoundland. Alex helped me out and was very helpful! The only thing we couldn't get, was the costume, it wasn't available in our little girls size.

  The staff, Zachary M and another woman were completely useless. They took a while to serve me because they were busy chatting with each other. The woman told me that when I buy a gift, the recipient would return it anyways (with the gift receipt). Do they think that parents are buying toys for their children and then sending them to the Rideau Centre themselves to exchange the item?

  Come on Disney, I know you can do better, this store should be an extension of Disney world, not the crappiest place on earth.

  When Zachary processed my order, my 2 shirts became unfolded while he attempted to scan them. Zachary just threw them in a pile and made no attempt to refold them. Things at that store aren’t cheap, he could at least fold the $40 t-shirt.

  Third, we find the service just okay. The Toronto Disney stores Cast Members are always happy to chat with you and help you look for items, and suggest similar items. Not so in Ottawa. I think this is probably a lack of training. These employees have not visited other stores to see how employees interact with customers.

  Amazing quality products, the authenticity of my daughter's "Princess Anna" costume was amazing. Beautiful detailing and craftsmanship. She loved it, and it fit beautifully. Staff was extremely helpful, price was great, and even when i had to return the matching boots sans receipt they happily took them back and offered me store credit. Can't wait to use it!! :-)

  I really was looking forward to a Disney Store in Ottawa. We drive down to Toronto once every 2 months and purchase from there. We also order online every 2 months and have items shipped across the border.

  I pass by this place everyday and considering I have two daughters who go bananas over Disney princess stuff, I usually end up spending a lot of money there. Sometimes I go there and it’s great. The younger staff is always really nice and asks me if I ever need help with anything yet every other time I go there after work, there’s an older woman that works there and whenever I ask for help or have a question, I’m either ignored, brushed off or left standing there with merchandise in my hands that I just end up putting back on the shelf and leaving.

  I bought something on Nov 17 as a Christmas gift and asked about the Return policy for Christmas gifts. I was told it’s the same as always, 30 days, but was offered a gift receipt. I thought that was crazy, Disney doesn’t have an extended return policy!!!

  Lastly - when I call to see if something is available (to avoid having to drive 25 minutes to downtown and pay for parking), no one picks up the phone. And there is no way to leave a voicemail.

  We found the store smaller than the ones in Toronto. Being the only store currently in Ottawa we had hoped it would be about the same size as stores in other major cities.
