You could spend a whole day here and still not see it all. Educational and fun spot.

I love the museum of nature for two reasons: it's entertaining and accessible. They have several diverse exhibits that let you learn about dinosaurs, bugs, arctic mammals, rocks and gems, and much more. Their current exhibit on butterflies is a live exhibit and once in a lifetime experience.

Gorgeous building. Really cool place. The way it's organized is really neat. Lots of cool exhibits that will make everyone happy. Interactive insect area which seems great for kids. The Arctic area is really awesome, with actual ice that elevates the exhibits.

My helpful tip. If you are from out of town the Best Western next door provides great accommodation that is within easy walking distance to the museum.

The entire building is accessible by large elevators, their washrooms are on every floor and the public can use their bottom floor washrooms. They have a cafeteria and picnic room! You must visit here!

A fantastic museum that is great for families. Many of the displays are interactive so children can enjoy them whilst informative labels for adults are on all displays. There are spacious elevators that go between all floors and the aisles are wide so it is pram friendly. If you are a local, this is a great place to take the children during the winter months. For visitors to the city, this is a must see attraction.

Great place for young kids. Lots of hands on activities. My kids love the dinosaur exhibit and the insect collection. The picnic area on the back is great because we can bring our own food and there is plenty of tables and chairs for everyone.
