  Landsdowne animal hospital was awesome under Dr. Z. All my cats were cared for him since 1998. He was gentle and so caring. This all changed when new owners took over. We would get charged for simply inquiring about medication or basic vet costs. The staff was either dismissive of our diabetic cats or condescending. 4 times we sought advice on changing the insulin or stopping altogether for one of our cars. Dr. I and Godfrey both said to continue. When our oldest male was collapsing from the insulin, Dr. I told me he wouldn't see me. I was to go to Alta Vista. Another vet took us and readily handled the crash without exorbitant fees. When our oldest was in her last moments, they kept her on a cold table while we were in the waiting room until I demanded to see her. Instead of the sedative before the final injection, the technician kept stabbing our dear cat and prolonging the pain. Dr. I kept jumping back as if he'd never tapped a vein. I pleaded with him to give the sedative first but he said she could have complications. I said "she is dying, what other complications could there be"?. It was disrespectful, unkind and uncaring how she was treated. We also had to wait while he soothed a couple's nerves about some grooming issues with their poodle. And as a final insult, after we paid and got home, a very rude Meghan called and said they hadn't charged us enough and we owed 80 dollars. We changed vets after that. Just the worst experience.

  I am so so happy with the service I have received at Landsdowne Animal Hospital. They are some of the most kind and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When my pup was spayed, I was a little nervous as I had never been through the process before and the staff was great in making me feel comfortable and even sent me pictures throughout the day and updates of how she was doing. The weeks following the procedure, Dr. Cady was great with checking in and making sure everything was running smoothly. I must admit, I contacted her quite frequently with questions and concerns and she would respond quickly and ease my worry. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to help care for my pup, and I truly recommend them!!

  Caring, compassionate staff and doctors and reasonable prices. I was so impressed with them last Monday, January 22nd, 2018. They saw my dog at the end of the day even though they were extremely busy. My dog is not easy to handle and they were fantastic with him. They went over and beyond the call of duty. Thank you so much

  Got great care here for my cat when he broke his leg! They’re very welcoming and really did seem to care about my cats (plus they always put a little design on cast which was adorable)
